Our day was a bit rainy, but all together so nice and relaxing! In the morning we gathered together and took the course to our first place to visit... Or wait. Maybe not. Something was missing... Me! Me and my hosts Tom and Sue were waiting half an hour in the front of a motel before the others arrived. They almost forgot me! Luckily Sari had asked, where is Erikka!

We had a good laugh and all day long we were asking, if  I'm still with the others.

Tom and Sue had arranged us a great surprise. In front of their friend's motel was a sign that said: Welcome Erikka and Finnish gse-team! Actually Tom showed me the sign already yesterday but I didn't want to spoil the surprise from others by writing about that to the blog!

We visited a Finnish Honka -log house. We were so proud to see this castle like vacation home that is designed in Finland and built of a real Finnish wood, that they said is the best in the world.

We drove to Asheville, went to a great restaurant 12 Bones, where even president Obama has been two times. Than we jump on a trolley and took a tour around the town. Nice way to spend a rainy day indeed!

In the evening we gathered to Tom's and Sue's place and had a lovely dinner. I really like my host family and their two dogs Deacon and Lucy, all though Lucy is still playing hard to get...!
