Today I found the purpose of life. Liquid truffel with smoked sea salt it is! That is what I tasted this evening in a chocolateria in Asheville. The place and the atmosphere were just like in that Johnny Depp -movie... How can anything be so delicious?

This morning we woke up early for Madison County Rotary club's breakfast meeting. Our presentation went really well and people were really interested about Finland and especially our education system.

Then it was time to say goodbye. The Rotaries gave us an awsome gift, register plates of Madison County!

We got really good friends in Mars Hill only in two days. I really miss my lovely hostesses and other great people, but I'm sure we meet again!

In Asheville everyone made us feel welcome immediately. My hosts Bill and Joyce and their other guest Michael are just great and a walking tour on the mountain routes was a perfect way to spend a sunny day.

In the evening Bill and Joyce took me to Corner Kitchen, restaurant that is one of President Obama's favourites. Food, company and service were all excellent! We continued to downtown for dessert that I already wrote about!

Well, seriously I think our GSE-tour may really have taught me if not the purpose, at least an important part of life. To meet fantastic people, see all the places, learn about life by discussing with others. No matter where we live, in the end we are all quite the same.

Our adventure continues. Now our team is in Asheville. At the morning I met symphonic orhestras conductor and the head of the local opera. Many interesting discussions about opera. Music people have a comman language.

Asheville is wonderful town. Not too big and not too little. It has a fine bohemian style.

On Thursday we had a presentation in Asheville Rotary Club. In front of 125 Rotarians my team made a perfect work. I am proud of my ladys. Between facts I manage to put some jokes.

We finnish Rotarians have something to learn from this american style. They have happy dollar, you can advertise your business and they have lotteries. But on the ground it is the same meeting. In all meetings it has been a very warm atmosphere.

Blowing Rock and Mars Hill are in our hearts. Wonderful people, coming together, discussions and good food. We have new friends and that is the most important thing.

You all should see the mountains. Appalachians are everywhere. Wonderful forests and so many oaks.

Here is a summer for us.
